Celebrating Black-Owned Brands!

Happy Black History Month, fam! These are some of our favorite black-owned brands we’ve featured that you should enjoy this month and beyond!

Biko Flower is a black, woman-owned cannabis brand, founded by Timika Drew, who’s vision is to use “cannabis as a tool to drive social change.” Biko Flower’s current offerings include a variety of flower grown outdoors, in greenhouses, and indoors, as well as infused pre-rolls. You can find Biko’s products throughout California, including at some of our black, women-owned dispensaries like Gorilla Rx and Josephine and Billies.

Next Level Edibles was founded by brothers Anthony and Cartier Jenkins to offer the tastiest ways to consume some THC. Their motto is “just because it’s medicine doesn’t mean it has to taste like it.” The current line includes infused coconut oil and brown sugar for home chefs to use in their favorite recipes.

Queen Mary is a premium cannabis brand with a line of award winning gummies and tinctures. Tiana Woodruff, the founder and CEO, created a brand that caters to women for “mental health and as an alternative to addictive prescriptions.” Each product is crafted with specific additives to enhance the wellness experience.

Saucy is here to elevate your BBQ experience! This Black/woman/LGBTQ+ owned business creates the best infused condiments out there. The line includes a BBQ sauce, hot sauce and herbal vinaigrette that come individually packaged and a larger ‘roadie’ size, making it easy to take on the go or put them out for your guests to add a little something to their plates.

SF Roots is centered around 3 values: Cannabis, Community, and Compassion. The company lives these everyday in their work and by paying it forward, supporting other social equity businesses, and striving to break the cycle of inequality, reinvesting in the community and creating generational wealth. Their products include a variety of flower, pre-rolls, and tinctures, and they’re about to launch concentrates and vapes!
